8th Newsletter (Oct 7-11)

UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Saints & OLP field trip this Thursday!

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who will be joining us. Permission slips were sent home with the kids last week, they must be turned in ASAP!

2. Halloween Carnival

Halloween Carnival $25 wristbands will be sold before and after school beginning this week (includes Jamba Juice, popcorn and cotton candy). We also need parent volunteers to supervise 8th grade booths...Our room moms will be reaching out for volunteer slots!

3. Volunteer Opportunities

Remember, our 8th grade students are required to complete 10 service hours this trimester. Here are some great volunteer opportunities:

Sunday, October 13 Mission Circle Food Packaging Event; more information/RSVP HERE

Friday, October 11: Drop off homemade Cookies for Kairos; 1 dozen per large Ziploc bag

4. iPads

iPads are to stay at school unless there is individual permission given by a teacher. All schoolwork can be accessed on any home device. Please help us enforce this policy.
