JUNIOR HIGH
St. James Academy

I started teaching Fifth Grade at St. James Academy in 1984. I "retired" in 1997 to be a stay-at- home mom.
My daughter Olivia just graduated from college. Wow, time really does fly. I can still remember taking her to the Kensington Library for story time.
My daughter, Lily came along in 2003, so my retirement lasted a little longer. Retirement and stay-at-home mom really do not belong in the same sentence ! Lil is now in 12th grade .
When Lily was in preschool, I came back to St. James as a classroom aide, in grades 7 and 8 and then grades 5 and 6.
The Fifth Grade teacher, the Awesome Mr. Keeley, retired and I moved back to my old spot in Fifth Grade. Next, the Great Mrs. Beswick retired and I moved up to Junior High- teaching Social Studies to grades 6,7, and 8 and 6th Grade Religion. I am also the Seventh Grade Homeroom teacher.
I am looking forward to a great 2020-2021 school year!
