Hi there

Although I’ve been part of the Saint James family for a long time, I’m excited to be joining the SJA staff this year, particularly getting to be part of the junior high teaching team. My husband Bill and I and our two kids Ryan (26) and Emma (18) have been parishioners since 1999. Emma attended SJA from K-8 and was well prepared for her high school years.

After graduating from the University of San Diego’s teaching program, I taught for eleven years in Palos Verdes as both a mentor and a lead teacher. I have a Master’s Degree in computer-based education, have both professional and personal experience teaching students with special needs and I have a background in nursing (RN.)

Mrs. Mott, Ms. Mottles and I are eager to continue the Saint James tradition of team teaching in junior high. We have been busy this summer working to provide our students with a safe and challenging, Catholic educational environment. Stay tuned….
