Halloween Carnival
The annual St. James Academy Halloween Carnival, sponsored by the Student Council, will take place on Friday, October 26th, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The Halloween Carnival is only for St. James Preschool and Academy students and their younger siblings. Students may wear appropriate costumes: no weapons, no excessive gore and blood, no wheels, and students must be able to see and sit comfortably in class. There is a Parade of Costumes on the school blacktop immediately after the 8:00 a.m. bell. All are welcome to watch and take pictures. Costume winners will receive a prize and be recognized in the newsletter. Categories are: best individual costume, cutest costume, most creative costume and the best group/pair costume. This year, $25 wristbands will be sold in front of the office before and after school, starting Tuesday, October 9th through Wednesday, October 24th. Wristbands include a Jamba Juice Mini-Smoothie (strawberry or mango), one popcorn, one cotton candy, and unlimited games and booths.
