ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPDATES:
1. We officially have enough drivers for our visit to Saints & OLP this week! Thank you to Mr. Lang for volunteering!
We now need volunteer drivers for our visit to Cathedral for Don's Day on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Please email me if interested/available!
2. A decade of the Rosary, led by Student Council Members, will be said after Friday morning masses during the month of October.
3. Blessing of the animals: In honor of St. Francis, families can bring their animals (safely and securely) to campus on Thursday, October 4 at 2:30 for a blessing. All dogs must be leashed. All students will gather with their class around the perimeter of the basketball court.
4. Please read the SJA newsletter: SJA newsletter
5. 8th GRADE FAMILIES!! This Saturday, October 6 is our fall Family Movie Night and Taco Dinner. We need your help to make it a successful event so a portion of proceeds can be donated to the 8th grade graduation fund! We are looking for 8th grade students and their parents to assist with concessions in four areas:
1. Setting Up
2. Making Popcorn (we have a commercial grade popcorn maker)
3. Selling Concessions
4. Breaking Down/Cleaning Up
Students who assist will receive service hours. All supplies and items will be provided. Essentially, we're looking for people to "man the booth," EASY PEASY! Please SIGN UP ASAP using this SIGN-UP If all slots are taken, don't worry there will be other simple and fun ways to volunteer to earn money for the grad fund!
6. Bocce Fun for Students: Thank you to Tristan Cornell, SJA Student Council Sports Commissioner and Niko Kuhn, SJA Student Council Spirit Commissioner for organizing the 1st annual Bocce Ball Tournament for the students.
