Wow what a week! Thank you to all families who attended the many SJA events this past week: basketball games, Deacon Al's Birthday party, Open House, and much much more!!!

UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. 8th Grade is in charge of this Friday's Mass, please join us for our liturgy.
2. As leaders of our school, it is important the the 8th grade is following all uniform guidelines. Please make sure skirts are an appropriate length and gentlemen are wearing belts and tucking in their shirts upon arrival. Uniform checks will be happening this week. Consequences will be given to students not in uniform.
3. This week is Catholic School's Week! Here are the daily events...
-Mon: Board Games in School Families
-Tues: Student Appreciation Day: wear college tshirt/sweatshirt with jeans
-Wed: Parish Appreciation Day
-Thur: Community Appreciation Day: Wear red, white, and blue with jeans for $1or bring in pb&j
-Fri: Grandparents Day (mass & reception)
4. Catholic School's Week "Soup"er Bowl: Please bring in cans of soup throughout the week for Catholic Charities!

6. Our next graduation meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 5th @ 8am in my classroom.
7. The Spelling Bee is this Tuesday, 1/29 in the hall @ 1:15pm.
8. Yearbook Ad Orders Due February 15th
Yearbook ads are a great way to congratulate a student, thank a teacher, send a greeting, advertise your business or wish our graduates well. Please use this order form and place your orders by February 15th. There will be no late orders accepted this year due to production timelines.
9. As part of Catholic Schools’ Week, we honor grandparents at a special mass and small reception on Friday, February 1st. Please use this link to RSVP.
10. GALA INFORMATION
SJA’s Around the World Gala Packets and Raffle Tickets are Coming Home Today
Our annual Gala is in 45 days! A packet of information and raffle tickets were sent home today. Please review and consider sponsoring, underwriting, getting involved and most importantly...attending! This event is a HUGE community builder and CELEBRATION of SJA! Please contact our fabulous chairs, Susan Hanna and Sherri Daquipa for more information.
Gala Raffle:
We are excited to launch the 2019 Gala Raffle and back by popular demand is our cash prize of $5,000 to one winner which will be drawn on Saturday, March 9th at the SJA Gala.
-We are asking for every family to sell a minimum of 20 raffle ticket
-Tickets are $10 each
-Sign up to sell at weekly masses and fish feast: SIGN UP HERE!
-Cash prizes for top 3 selling families
-Additional prizes for weekly participation and Class Participation
-Tickets are being sent home today. Please check your oldest child's backpack for tickets and more detailed information.
-We need 100% participation to make a success! Please get out there and start selling those raffle tickets!
