5. Fit to Lead Update:
Fit to Lead ~ Each Unique Role
Team... we find ourselves a part of a team in nearly everything we do. Family, class, sports, dance, music, cheer, work... all of these are teams. Anytime we work together with one or more persons for a common purpose, we are working as a team. Before we can work together successfully as a team, we must understand what makes up a team. Every team is made up of different parts, with each person playing a unique role. The Bible (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) points us to look at our bodies as an example for how we should work together as a team. In PE, students focused on how each person plays an important role on a team. In teams, students worked together to create different objects or activities using only their bodies. Make sure to check out the pictures of our experiences! https://stjamesphysicaleducation.shutterfly.com Family Discussion Questions: 1. Why do you think God chose to use our bodies as an example of teamwork? 2. Think about your family "team" and discuss what each person brings to your family, the unique and special role that each person has. 3. Share how you can specifically encourage other people on your team, so that they know they have an important and unique role to play.
