8th grade has had an action packed week & we have more to come! Check out the updates below!

UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. 8th grade will be doing a class Secret Santa. The students have already picked their partners and have taken a survey of their "favorite things", results can be found here.
Minimum is $10 and max is $20. We will be exchanging gifts the day of the Christmas show (Thursday, December 20th).
2. Speaking of the Christmas show, we will be having one whole-school performance in the church on Dec. 20th at 7pm.
Mrs. Oldham has some updates regarding student costumes:
The students are singing a surprise song for you at the Christmas pageant.
Costumes:
Girls: T-shirt or long top preferably long-sleeved, but short ok (no buttons or logos) in color that matches their secret hat; long black jeans, pants or leggings; black socks and boots/shoes/sneakers. If leggings are chosen, tops must be long enough to cover rear.
Boys: T-shirt or plain top preferably long-sleeved, but short ok (no buttons or logos) in color that matches their secret hat; long black jeans or pants (belt optional); black socks and boots/shoes/sneakers.
Graded assignment: Students need to bring the above with accessories to school on Monday, Dec. 17th in a bag marked with their name.

6. Don't miss out! Plan to attend St.James/St.Leo Christmas Fair next Sunday 12/16 from 8:30-11:30. The Christmas Fair features our ever-popular Peppermint Shop, where children can buy & wrap affordable gifts ($1-$4) for their family. We will also have charitable Silent Auction, Bake Sale, & Crafts. Join us for hot apple cider, continental breakfast, Nativity photo booth, music & fun!

7. Tomorrow is "Mr. Powell Day", please have students come to school wearing their favorite tie to celebrate Mr. Powell.
