Week 2 is in the books! We are getting things rolling and had a very productive week. Here are some highlights!
1. Saints & OLP came to our classroom to share some info about high school. The kids asked great questions and had a great time listening to their presentations. More information about Saints & OLP is can be found here!
2. Fr. Gerard came to visit and speak to the 8th grade about his role in the church and in our community. We loved having him and look forward to seeing him around campus.
3. THANK YOU to all the parents that came to Back to School Night! The event was surely a success and I loved sharing information with a full classroom! I am so grateful.
4. 8th Grade did a FABULOUS job leading mass on Friday. A special thank you to our readers: Jack B., Lauren, Gaby & Alex. I was definitely teary when they all sang together!

Monday 9/17: First Graduation Meeting, all parents are encouraged to attend! Please meet at 6pm in my classroom. (Snacks & Drinks provided).
Saturday 9/29: 5th Annual Bocce Tournament & Garden Party
Wednesday 10/3 (tentative): SJA 8th grade visits Saints & OLP. We will need drivers. Please email me if interested!

Join us for our 5th Annual Bocce Tournament & Garden Party on Saturday, 9/29 at a warm, sprawling, private residence in Rancho Santa Fe. This casual, party-atmosphere event is a celebration of our community and raises funds to benefit our students and programs. It is open to St. James families, parishioners, alumni, friends and neighbors. Space is limited, so purchase your tickets now:
